As the Joint Founder and Director of Spolton Mortgages, Nick Spolton leads with a clear vision — to provide every client with an exceptional experience and the very best outcome for their mortgage and financial needs.
Before establishing Spolton Mortgages, Nick enjoyed a successful career as a Senior Bank Manager with Lloyds Bank, where the most rewarding part of his role was helping customers achieve financial peace of mind. That same passion remains at the heart of the business today.
Nick believes that outstanding service starts with a great team, and he has carefully built a group of specialists who share his commitment to honesty, care, and client success. Together, they focus the energy of the whole company on one goal: making each client’s journey as smooth and positive as possible.
Known for his approachable and down-to-earth manner, Nick takes pride in simplifying complex financial matters and guiding clients with warmth, clarity, and trust. Whether you’re taking your first step on the property ladder or reviewing your current mortgage, you can count on Nick and his team to be there every step of the way.
Based in Sleaford with his wife and young son, Nick is deeply rooted in his local community and brings those same family values into his professional life — prioritising care, connection, and doing what’s right for every client.

As Joint Founder and Director of Spolton Mortgages, Kasia Spolton leads with warmth, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping people feel confident and supported in their financial journey. She plays a key role in shaping the welcoming, client-focused culture that defines the business — ensuring every client receives exceptional service, expert guidance, and the best possible outcome.
Her career began with a decade at Lloyds Bank, managing three community branches across Lincolnshire, before spending time as a freelance translator. These experiences gave her a unique ability to communicate clearly and connect with people from all walks of life — a skill she brings to every client relationship.
Kasia finds true fulfilment in helping people finance the home of their dreams while also ensuring they have the right protection in place should life take an unexpected turn. She’s passionate about giving clients peace of mind — knowing that their home, finances, and loved ones are secure, whatever happens. Her approachable nature and deep knowledge mean clients trust her to guide them through every stage of their mortgage and protection journey with care and clarity.
For Kasia, the greatest satisfaction comes when clients leave the office feeling reassured, confident, and fully supported — knowing they are in safe, dependable hands.

John Hallam joined Spolton Mortgages in 2024, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in banking and a lifelong passion for helping people make confident financial decisions. His deep understanding of personal finance, combined with his approachable nature, makes him a trusted guide for clients navigating the world of Mortgages and Protection.
John takes the time to really get to know his clients — their goals, priorities, and dreams — so he can find the right mortgage solution to suit their individual circumstances. Whether you’re buying your first home, moving to a new one, or reviewing your current mortgage, John’s friendly, down-to-earth style ensures the process feels straightforward and stress-free. With access to a wide range of lenders, he’s dedicated to finding the best options available and supporting clients every step of the way.
Originally from Lincolnshire, John now calls Radcliffe on Trent home. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and can often be found out on the golf course, making the most of a sunny day.

His goal is simple — to make the mortgage process smooth, transparent, and as stress-free as possible while ensuring you feel supported from start to finish.

Outside of work, Seth is a devoted family man, an avid sports fan, and a keen (if not the fastest!) runner who enjoys keeping active and spending quality time with loved ones.

After a 10-year career in the Royal Air Force working in flight operations, he developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, clear communication, and supporting others under pressure — skills that now serve him well in helping clients navigate the mortgage process with confidence and ease.
Transitioning into the financial services industry, Tom applies the same commitment and attention to detail that defined his RAF career. He’s passionate about making the journey to homeownership as straightforward and stress-free as possible, taking the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and offering clear, personalised guidance every step of the way. His calm, friendly approach helps clients feel supported and reassured, no matter how complex their situation might seem.
Away from work, Tom is a devoted family man with a love of sport. He’s a keen runner and an enthusiastic (if occasionally competitive!) golfer, always up for a challenge on the course. Still deeply connected to the Armed Forces community, Tom continues to champion causes that support service members and their families.
