Spolton Mortgages is a local family business that promises to offer simple, straightforward and honest mortgage advice. that makes the whole process of applying for a Mortgage as easy as possible.
Nick and Kasia Spolton said – Before starting our own business were both working as Bank Managers for Lloyds Bank. After meeting lots of customers who had received poor advice, that was simply not the best thing for them and their families, we decided we needed to do something to help.
That gave us the motivation we needed to open our own business where we can put our skills, knowledge, experience, and family values to work so that our customers can be certain that they have received the best advice possible.
Before we even thought about the opening, we spent several months putting together a team of specialists that we can trust and refer to where more complex and/or specialist advice is needed, so that our customers and their families can get straightforward and reliable advice across most of their financial needs.
We are very proud of our offices in Market Place in Sleaford where you are welcome to visit us for an informal chat about how we can help you. In fact, the former building is a previous TSB branch, a company who Nick and Kasia both spent many years working for!
We will, of course, be happy to meet you in the office but if for any reason that isn’t possible then home visits, video conferencing and telephone appointments can also be arranged.
We look forward to helping you
Until October 2018 I was working as a Senior Bank Manager for Lloyds Bank. During my time with Lloyds, the most rewarding part of the job was helping customers to have a stress free financial life and that’s the reason I decided it was time to open my own business.
I Live here in Sleaford with my wife, who also happens to be my business partner and our young son. Our local community and family are very important to me and I bring those values into my business life.
My real passion is helping people have a better financial life and I am told that one of my greatest gifts is ‘keeping it simple’. I love guiding customers through often complicated and stressful situations to make their life as easy as possible. As well as helping customers reduce stress I want them to have the best possible financial life and the fact that we are whole of market means I can help can do that by searching through hundreds of different mortgages to help customers get the right mortgage for them.
I have also spent the time to put together a carefully selected team of specialists that I can trust to support my customers with many financial needs, not just mortgages.
2019 will be a big year for the Spolton Family. We are proud of the offices we have here in the Market Place in Sleaford and we are looking forward to working hard to support our customers to have a better and stress-free financial life.
Born close to Szczecin in Poland my home has been in England since 2004 and my Family home has been here in Sleaford since 2008 where I now live with my Husband Nick and our young son.
Before Nick and I decided to open Spolton Mortgages I spent 12 months as a freelance translator and before that, I spent 10 years working for Lloyds Bank, here in Lincolnshire, where I was a Bank Manager looking after three rural Lincolnshire community branches.
I really enjoy being able to use my knowledge and experience to make people’s lives as easy as possible and helping them finance the house of their dreams. The biggest buzz comes when customers often tell me that they feel very comfortable coming into my office and confident that I will help them through every part of their financial lives.
In putting together the plans to launch Spolton Mortgages we spent several months putting together a team of specialists that we know share the same values that we do to look after our customers really well. As whole of market mortgage advisers we have access to 100’s of mortgages to help customers get the right mortgage for them and from our offices here in Sleaford we are able to help customers across the Country.
