How Forces Help to Buy works

The Forces Help to Buy scheme lets eligible service personnel borrow up to 50% of their basic salary, capped at £25,000, as an interest-free advance towards a home. It is repaid over your mortgage term. Add it to your own savings to see your total deposit.

We regularly help Armed Forces buyers combine the scheme with the right mortgage, and charge a reduced £199 fee for Armed Forces and Blue Light Card holders.

Your home/property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
